About
Welcome to Long Eaton Music Festival
Long Eaton has a proud history of community driven music festivals, stretching all the way back to the 1930s Hospital Carnival, which raised funds for—yes—our local hospitals. Nearly a century later, the Long Eaton Music Festival is continuing that same spirit of togetherness, creativity, and charitable fundraising.
Canaan Calling!
Our inaugural festival on 4th July 2026 will raise vital funds for the Canaan Trust, supporting people facing homelessness. At the same time, it will showcase the very best of our emerging local music talent—hopefully under a bright, sun filled summer sky.
What to Expect
The festival is split into two ticketed sessions:
• Afternoon Session (2–6pm) — All ages welcome
• Evening Session (7–11pm) — Adults only
Each session features eight acts:
• Four acoustic solo/duo performers
• Four full main stage acts
Weather permitting, the acoustic stage will be set up outdoors in the fantastic space behind the Soldiers & Sailors, with food, facepainting and more. The main stage will be inside the large back room, complete with its own stage and bar.
Our First Year
As you can imagine, planning a festival is no small task. This is our first year, and with the support of the community—and strong ticket sales (hint, hint!)—we hope to build something that can grow into an annual celebration. Let’s see where 2026 takes us.
A Huge Thank you
Every band and solo artist performing is generously donating their time and talent. Without them, this festival simply wouldn’t exist. They’re incredible—and we can’t wait for you to hear them. Head over to the ticket page to support an amazing charity and enjoy a brilliant lineup of local talent.
We also want to give heartfelt thanks to:
• Pete & Rose at the Soldiers & Sailors
• Gez at Alpha Pro Creative CIC
• Jay at The Loft - rehearsal & recording studio
• The Canaan Trust fundraising committee
• Our fantastic volunteers
• Erewash Community Media CIC
• And many more who will no doubt join the journey
